Luke, now retired from competitive racing, is a lifetime member of Derby AC, a previous 4-time UK Champion at 3000m Steeplechase, whose international career spanned over a decade across all-terrains: track, cross-country and road.

Luke, an alumni of the University of Birmingham, is now based there as the Head of Athletics, coaching many of the countries promising junior and senior athletes from 800-Marathon.

He also studied and competed for Florida State University, winning numerous ACC Championship titles as an individual and team member, but also was a member of the 2-time NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship winning team.

Luke is married to fellow GB international and 2011 World 1500m Silver medalist, Hannah England.
