Joel is heading up Brighton Track Club, an elite middle and long distance training group based in Brighton. Brighton Track Club has launched in 2025 with a small group of professional and semi pro athletes, built around our current crop of internationals. Our vision is to develop a squad that is capable of producing Olympic and world class performers. Underpinning this we are have a development group, with the aim to have athletes regularly competing at the European and world age group championships (U18/U20/U23). By training together in a professional environment, with the necessary elite level coaching and support networks we foster a culture of excellence.

British Athletics Qualified Coach and former British International and England Commonwealth Games 800m Semi finalist, Joel has also been developing international athletes for 15 years at Brighton Phoenix athletics club, where he coaching director. Outside of athletics Joel runs Friday Media Group a successful Brighton based media business, as well as being the founder of FMG Project, a local gym based project for youngsters in the city.
