James is the Head Coach of the Excelsior Athletic Development Club. He has been a full time professional coach for 13 years, previously he worked in Health and Fitness for 10 years. He is the author of "Training Young Athletes", plus the 3 ebooks Run Faster, Get Stronger and Jump Higher. He has written over 30 articles for Peak Performance magazine. He has worked with many top level sports organisations, including: England Rugby, England Golf, Great Britain Rugby League, London Welsh RFC and Exeter Chiefs RFC. James has a Masters Degree in Sports Coaching, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has a Diploma in Sports Psychology. He competed in National, European and World Championships for England in Shotokan Karate.
